Team Horizon from SoCal, SW, IMW and CO all came together recently and there was much to celebrate - Horizon's 41st anniversary; 33 new staff members since our last All Team in 2019; our continued growth and expansion; AND a spirited group focus on HORIZON CARES.

For 2 days we put together kits for high schoolers in the LIFT program, baby kits for Orange Country Rescue Mission, wrote notes to seniors and others who could use some positive support and made fleece blankets for local rescue and animal shelters. We Make It Happen!

Our Southwest team partnered with Bashas' once again to help cook, plate and box up 295 Thanksgiving holiday meals for those in need. What a great team effort!

Supporting Friendly Center in Santa Ana to purchase and box up 8 complete Thanksgiving meal baskets for families in our community. We were proud to be a small part of this great event. In total, 400 families were provided with meal baskets to prepare a meal with their loved ones.

2020 tested us all. However, we proved that even during a pandemic, Horizon Cares could accomplish so much. We supported 10 events across 3 states, raised funds for 5 families in our local communities struggling from the harsh impact of COVID-19 and participated in 6 food and clothing drives.

All Team 2019 was 2 full days of fun, team-building, scavenger hunts and community give-back. We partnered with Friendly Center (est 1924) in OC and created 100 baskets to make Easter a little brighter for the children in the community.

Supplies collected for the incoming 5th grade class of Fremont Elementary. The Horizon Team donated enough supplies to ensure every student received the most needed supplies on their list. Way to go, team! #horizoncares

Fremont Elementary

Delivery day to Mrs. W's 5th grade class at Fremont Elementary. What a welcome our team received from this amazing group of kids! We collected all the items on their "most needed" list and brought boxes full of games, books, umbrellas, belts, earbuds and University of Alabama items, their class adopted college, to help remind them they are college bound...Roll Tide! This is just the beginning...#horizoncares

We're kicking off Spring 2018 with our Adopt a Classroom campaign. Fremont Elementary is a No Excuses University school that promotes and upholds the idea that ALL kids can be college bound. Horizon believes that too and we are proud to support this inspiring group of kids and their unwavering goals!
